With a team that has never worked together before, a new subject, and having to do the project essentially in isolation from the members of the team, we believe it worked out well. We had to make some changes to the design late in the stage, and improvise a bit; however, we managed to get a final product out. A couple negatives were the arm and the base. In regards to the arm, the motors worked properly, but the homemade gear the group created malfunctioned keeping the arm from extending. As for the base, we originally planned to hide the wheels; however, our original idea for the structure was not functioning as well as we liked, so the we decided to use Styrofoam half-spheres to create the body.

One of the main things that we could benefit from for the next project are to assign specific roles for members assigned with completing small bits of the project. This would help with some of the tasking and remove some of the confusion that happened during the project. In

the end, it all came down to the final goal of the build. For us, it was to create a budget BB-8.
