Week 3 - Ryan: Mechanical Sketch

I began working on the mechanical sketch for the base of the BB-8. The group decided that having an actual spinning ball like in the movie was a bit too much at the moment, so we settled on a design that keeps the look as much as possible, without the complexity. For the base, it uses two wheels attached to a motor each so they can be controlled separately. This would allow the build to move similar to how BB-8 does, without the entire core spinning. We are planning to have a third free moving swivel wheel in the rear to add stability and reduce drag. Though this is what we plan, there will most likely still be minor changes throughout the project build.
